David Rickard, is a New Zealand artist based in London, UK. His original studies in architecture have had a lasting impact on his art practice, embedding queries of material and spatial perception deep into his work. Through research and experimentation his works attempt to understand how we arrived at our current perception of the physical world and how far our perception is from what we call reality. recent interviews 2023 / Interalia Magazine - Perception and Reality / interview with Richard Bright 2021 / Seisma Magazine - David Rickard: Art at the Thresholds, by Paul Carey Kent 2021 / OpenLab - Breaking Boundaries: A studio visit with David Rickard, by Kate Neave 2020 / Collaborative City - interview with Robert Such 2019 / Radio New Zealand - Standing Room Only with Lynn Freeman 2019 / ExibArt - Avanti & Indietro with Raffaele Gavarro studio +44(0)78 1804 6981 david(at)david-rickard.net Studio 14G, The Triangle 129-131 Mare Street London E8 3RH, UK represented by: CØPPERFIELD (UK) Galleria Michela Rizzo (Italy) Download CV solo and duo exhibitions
