​Dust from the studio floor is collected within a small container which is designed to constantly release a gradual flow of particles onto photographic paper laid on the floor of the darkened studio. Suspended from the ceiling, this entire system is pushed into a gentle orbit which rotates with ever decreasing momentum. By briefly turning on the studio lights before developing the photographic paper an imprint remains of the dust, inverting the fallen particles into flecks of light within a deep black background recalling the vast forces that have shaped matter at a galactic scale.
